These activities impair environmental quality by over loading natural sinks with wastes and pollutants.It must be emphasized that environment protection is not costless. The best can be done by enforcing the "Polluter Pay Principle". Efficient use of natural resources of land, water, energy, forests, livestock, human resources and biological resources is important for the survival of humanity for sustainability.
