Autorenporträt
Author Anna May was born and raised in northwest Indiana. Most of her life, she struggled with knowing what she wanted to do with her life. She knew she wanted to do something worthwhile that would help people. It wasn't until Anna May was 25 years old that she discovered she had a passion for writing. She wrote her first poem in 2008 and her first children's book in 2009. She tries to use her love of rhyming words to entertain people and to use that skill to teach at the same time. Anna is a person who wants to push herself to the best of her abilities and to also try new things that will challenge her. One thing she did that challenged her, was to take a beginner ballet class at the age of 28. She was put in a class with younger children. She says it made her feel awkward, but she did not let that feeling stop her from trying something new. Anna May does not take ballet anymore but she cherishes the memories and experience of it. She always wants to learn as much as she can and experience life as much as she can. She would like to teach people to truly live their lives and not to let fear stop them from doing what's in their hearts.
