With more and more Naultinus being bred in Europe and this new book now sharing the secrets of successfully caring for them, I can only hope and assume that even more keepers will now become involved with Naultinus and will further bolster the European population. The two species available in Europe, i.e. N. elegans and N. grayii, are certainly among the most handsome and most vividly coloured of all the species, and are perhaps the two best suited to captive breeding. I have kept both myself and feel certain that they will each make excellent European ambassadors for the genus! Tony Jewell.
