David McEwen is founder and Director of Adaptive Capability, a strategic management consultancy advising business on risks and opportunities related to climate change and other macro environmental issues. He is focused on how we will need to redefine our relationship with nature and reshape our buildings, cities, companies, energy systems, transport infrastructures, food and water sources and societies in the coming decades to meet these growing challenges. David has had a 20 year consulting career, assisting clients in a range of countries and industries on a variety of issues. He also worked for the New Zealand Treasury. Coming from an environmentally conscious family, he began developing consulting services around the theme of corporate sustainability and energy efficiency about ten years ago.A New Zealander, he currently resides in Sydney, Australia with his wife and two children. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management and was winner of the AGSM Alumni Association Prize. This is his first book.
