David Biser helps us navigate the change that is inevitable in church leadership. The reflection questions at the end of each chapter will help you process past changes and better prepare you for leading into the future. If you're planning any changes, you need to read Navigating the Waves of Change. -Dave Ferguson, Lead Pastor - Community Christian Church Lead Visionary - NewThing In Navigating the Waves of Change, you will discover key principles that every church will need to incorporate no matter what change is happening. The book is written for pastors and church leaders alike by a pastor who has lived through significant changes. Since change is happening every day, you are most likely asking questions about how to navigate through the waves in a way that will take you into a bright future. While the timeless message of Jesus Christ does not change, congregations need to change from time to time to reach those who God has called to. Being willing to make those changes means the difference between congregational life or death.

Autorenporträt
Historian, author, and reenactor, David Biser, wears many hats, but the one he enjoys most began over 15 years ago-when he became a first-person interpreter for John Harris Jr. David was so impressed by Harris' incredible life, he decided his story must be told-and dedicated hundreds of hours to research. If you're in Pennsylvania, you may spot David as a rifleman reenacting the Revolutionary War or as an extra in many historical documentaries. When he's not dressed in colonial attire, you'll find David serving as a pastor at CrossPoint Church in his hometown of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. On a day off, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and taking a ride on his horse, Dexter, while imagining days on the frontier when horseback was the only means of transportation.
