Liam Muldowney and Stephen O'Crowley combine their love of silent film, slapstick and a geeky interest in all things Irish in Hollywood by producing a volume of work that has taken many years to research and produce. Having exhausted all available records and archives, they have managed to bring back to life some of Ireland's biggest names in Hollywood and tell their stories one hundred years after their successes. Although largely forgotten today, these actors were once the biggest names on the screen. They worked with some of the most famous people from Hollywood's early days and some of the most influential stage actors the world has ever seen. They count amongst their co-stars; Mary Pickford, Charles Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy, Buster Keaton, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Anna Pavlova, Colleen Moore, Mabel Normand, Mae West and Bela Lugosi.
