Near Field Communication (NFC) is a promising wireless communication technology utilizing the High Frequency propagation of waves, which offers diverse services ranging from mobile payments to loyalty applications. The modern world moving towards the 'cashless' society, and consumers increasingly making payments on online and on mobile phones. i.e. the face of the payments landscape is rapidly changing from old traditional method of cash / cheque payment processing to simple, fast, secure and reliable methodology. The main objective of this research work is to obtain a lightweight model to estimate indoor localization at HF range to process mobile payments via NFC.
