The present book emphasis on finding suitability of nonwoven fabric made from different techniques for automotive filter. The nonwoven fabric were manufactured by using needle punch & thermal bonded technique using 6D polyester and 4D Low melt polyester staple fiber with five different GSM. These fabrics were compared with each other for properties best suitable for air filtration. An automotive air intake filter performance was compare with control sample filter after trial run of motor bike for 200, 400 and 600 km. It was found that 120 GSM needle punch fabric gives higher mileage.
