Produktbeschreibung
Neem, a noble tree of India, is the most beneficial plant known for its agricultural, medicinal and industrial potential. No other plant certainly has varied products or utilizable by-products. The research horizon exploited this plant for its various capabilities and unique bioactive compounds. This book is designed for wide spectrum audience from nonspecialists such as government ministers, research directors, university students, private voluntary organizations and entrepreneurs to specialists as biochemists, molecular biologists and biotechnologists. It is intended as a neem research development document. We hope it will be of interest, especially to agencies engaged in bioactive compound business; officials and institutions concerned with agriculture and forestry in tropical countries; and scientific establishments with relevant interests. This book has covered a research study of students working in various projects at Centre for Advanced Studies in Plant Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (CPBGE), Department of Biosciences, Saurashtra University, Rajkot. Funds for this study were made available by State Government of Gujarat for financial support for CPBGE programme.
