The Corona Virus (COVID_19) pandemic have had a significant effect on tourism and hospitality industry. Though Crises are by no means new to the tourism industry (Blake, 2003) however, the impact of Covid_19, at least from an economic point of view, has so far been more devastating than any other crises in recent history. Tourism destinations have adopted an emergency health care measures and restrictions imposed on human movement and travel around the world. Beaches, hospitality homes and resorts are empty, peoples mobility have stopped and travelling between territories is strictly controlled by the authorities. The COVID_19 lockdown around the world has imposed some negative impact on the livelihood of people and world economy as well. Hence this study attempts to investigate and examine these impacts and thus propose ways for sustainable tourism development in near future from the consequences of social, economic, and environment in COVID-19 pandemic situation.
