This book explores the necessity of the emergence of Neo-Indian Cinema, the different styles adopted by the filmmakers of these films, some of the current major challenges that Neo-Indian Cinema faces and what it can provide Bombay cinema and eventually the Indian cinema in the long run.

Rinita Nadavan is an English graduate from Nanyang Technological University. Upon the completion of modules from various avenues of English Literature and after heavy contemplation, she decided to write her Honours research paper on Neo-Indian Cinema; a term that she gave to an extended but a fresh dimension of Bombay Cinema.
