Adriano Cozzolino is Teaching Assistant, Politics and International Relations, University of Naples L'Orientale. His main research interests focus on State theory and State transformation, critical social theory, theories of international political economy, research methodology; his expertise is mainly on the European Union area and Southern Europe. Adriano's most recent research articles include "Reconfiguring the State: Executive Powers, Emergency Legislation, and Neoliberalization in Italy" (Globalizations) and "Trumpism as nationalist neoliberalism: a critical enquiry into Donald Trump's political economy" (Interdisciplinary Political Studies). Adriano is also a member of the Critical Political Economy Research Network.
