Bayih è un medico accademico dell'Università Debre Tabor. Dal 2016 presta assistenza neonatale presso l'Unità di Terapia Intensiva Neonatale dell'Ospedale Generale di Debre Tabor. Ha conseguito una laurea in Infermieristica generale e un master in Infermieristica di maternità e salute neonatale, entrambi conseguiti presso l'Università di Haramaya (Etiopia) rispettivamente nel 2014 e nel 2018.
