For the past 40 years, Jeff Goble has provided bond market advice and strategy for investors including banks, corporations and individuals. His first book, More Yield, Less Risk... Better Sleep! was published in 2007 by FMS Publishing in Chicago, Illinois.Jeff has served as Chief Market Strategist for Country Club Bank in Kansas City, and as Executive Vice President and Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division of UMB Bank Kansas City, a regional banking firm. He is a frequent speaker at state, regional and national banking conferences throughout the United States, as well as having conducted over 150 bond seminars and economic outlook conferences nationwide.Since 1986, Jeff has served as a member of the faculty, as the Investments Section Leader and as a member of the Banker Advisory Board and the Faculty Review Committee at the Graduate School of Banking, University of Wisconsin at Madison, Wisconsin. He is also a faculty member and frequent speaker for the Financial Managers Society (FMS) in Chicago, Illinois. He has taught Money and Banking and investment-management classes in the MBA program at the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas.In addition, since 1989, Jeff has written over 150 investment advice columns for Bank News Magazine, a Kansas City-based media company, on a wide variety of economic and investment topics and best practices for bond investing. Jeff holds BA and MBA degrees from the University of Kansas in Lawrence. He and his wife of 40 years have three grown sons and reside in Mission Hills, Kansas.In keeping with the spirit of the book, all sales proceeds from "Nest Egg" are donated to seven Kansas City charities listed in Chapter 12.
