Autorenporträt
Robert Stein is Lecturer in Medieval history at Leiden University. His main fields of interest are State-formation and the development of national identities in the Burgundian Low Countries. Judith Pollmann is professor in history and culture of the Dutch Republic at Leiden University. She has published extensively on the religious and cultural history of the early modern Netherlands. She is currently directing the VICI-project "Tales of the Revolt: Memory, Oblivion and Identity in the Low Countries, 1566-1750".
