Nicole is an award-winning journalist and author. The Michigan Press Association recognized her as a top feature writer. In 2014, she won an honorable mention in genre fiction from the Writer's Digest annual competition. She wrote for two daily newspapers in the greater Philadelphia area before producing a best-selling book series.
