Apostle Joan E. Walker has been the Senior Pastor of the Progressive Evangelistic Temple for twenty-seven years and a gospel preacher for forty-seven years. Apostle Joan Walker is a motivator who uses the Gospel of Jesus Christ as a platform to move others toward spiritual and physical wholeness. Her messages are candid with a touch of humor. A profound teacher of the gospel, Apostle Joan Walker teaches the Word of God with simplicity. She operates in the five-fold ministry as the Spirit of God leads. Apostle Joan Walker is a spiritual mother to pastors and ministerial leaders offering wisdom and sound advice for their next great Kingdom move. Her extensive travels have allowed her to assist in the development and training of others in ministry. She received a Doctorate of Ministry from St. Thomas Christian University and Living Water Bible Institute besides a Masters of Religious Education from Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary. Apostle Joan Walker previously served as District Elder of the Midwestern Jurisdiction with Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies. Later she was consecrated Bishop in the Lord's church under the leadership of Bishop Sammy C. Smith of Grace Cathedral Christian Fellowship, Inc. on November 5, 2011. She was recently appointed National Mother of Grace Cathedral Christian Fellowship, Inc. June 26, 2014.
