This book analyzes the financing methods available to entrepreneurs from a practical perspective. Expert authors also present insights on topics such as the role of incubators and accelerators in entrepreneurial fundraising; crowd-based entrepreneurial fundraising instruments; factoring, leasing and confirming for entrepreneurs; government grants, subsidies, and tax reliefs; business angels and venture capital firms; access to capital markets through initial public offerings; and financing with crypto-assets. Pau Sendra-Pons is a researcher and lecturer in the Department of Corporate Finance at the Universitat de València. He graduated in International Business and holds a Master's Degree in Corporate Finance from the same university, receiving an award for outstanding performance in both degrees. He also has an international PhD in Accounting and Corporate Finance. He has been a visiting scholar at the London School of Economics (LSE). His research focuses on entrepreneurial fundraising, especially crowdfunding, as well as entrepreneurship drivers. He has published articles in international journals and has been presented with the Cañada Blanch Foundation research award and the FESIDE award for the best research paper in finance. Dolores Garzon is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Management at the Universitat de València and guest lecturer at both national and international universities. She holds a PhD in Business Organization. Her lines of research include entrepreneurship and sustainability. She has published several books, book chapters, and papers in prestigious journals and has studied these topics as part of European and regional research projects. Dolores conducts research on entrepreneurship from a professional point of view. She is currently Vice-Dean of Entrepreneurship and Business Relations in the Faculty of Economics at the Universitat de València and is the academic head of UVemprén, the entrepreneurship support area at the same university. María-Ángeles Revilla-Camacho is an Associate Professor in Marketing at the Universidad de Sevilla. She has published more than 30 articles in scientific journals (16 in high-impact journals), as well as eight books and 14 book chapters with prestigious publishers such as Springer and Pearson. She is a reviewer for several indexed journals and is part of the scientific committee of national and international conferences. She is currently a Scientific Officer in Tourism Management for the European Academy of Management and Business Economics. Her lines of research are related to key resources in tourism management, entrepreneurship, managerial social capital, and value co-creation. She is a member of the Cátedra de Gestión de Espacios Urbanos Turísticos and the Organizational Legitimacy Observatory.
