Our efforts are focused on the introduction of chemical diversity in the molecular frame work in order to synthesizing pharmacologically interesting heterocyclic compounds of widely different composition. During the course of research work looking to the applications of heterocyclic compounds, several entities have been designed, generated and characterized using spectral studies. The aims and objectives of the work carried out are as under. 1. To synthesize pharmacologically active entities like Imidazolines, Chalcone, Pyrazolines and Pyrimidine Derivatives, etc. 2. To characterise these products for structural elucidation using spectroscopic techniques like IR and 1HNMR spectral studies. 3. To check the purity of all compounds using thin layer chromatography. 4. To evaluate these new products for better drug potential against different strains of bacteria and fungi.
