The study of the relations between the social and the political is more open than before. Traditionally the study of Political Sociology has focused on traditional actors and structures such as the State, the citizenship, social movements or the study of power. This book tries to discover that the relations between the politics and the social is embedded in very different perspectives of the study about our structures. In this sense, this book has four parts, following Bourdieu's theory of fields, in order to discover how the relations between one an another are not unidirectional but multivariable. The first part focuses on the political sphere but with a new perspective, looking into new topics or discovering new applications of old theories. The second part is dedicated to the economic sphere where the politics is also present. The third part is dedicated to the question of identities and narratives pointing out how important is this study for the analysis of Political Sociology. The last part is dedicated to show how rediscovering the social with a psycho-sociological perspective gave us a new insight for studying the relations between politics and society.
