Skin lesions are responsible for the inability to work for more years than cancer, cardiovascular diseases and vascular accidents together. Therefore, the necessity of carrying out fundamental and clinic research in the treatment of skin lesions proves its significance. The discovery of natural compounds able to stimulate the regeneration of the tissues gained great importance in the last years, in the sense of developing new non-toxic formulations. The aim of this study was to elaborate and to evaluate the therapeutical effect of new formulations containing apitherapy products (propolis, honey and Royal Jelly), vegetal extracts (Plantaginis folium, Hipopphae fructus, Allii cepae bulbus, Calendulae flos, Bardanae folium, Hyperici herba, Millefolii herba)and natural polymers on some experimental wound models: linear incision, circular excision, thermal burn and chemically induced. The target groups are: researchers, physicians, pharmacists, chemists and other specialists from domain of medical and health sciences.

Dr. C lin Vasile Andri oiu is also PhD student at Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi. Theme of his research focuses on the effect of natural products in the pathology of different diseases.
