Autorenporträt
Arthur Piccolo has spent his life battling against convention and the Status Quo, which he believes undermine much of our potential while creating rigid structures at every level of society which only benefit the few. 21C is his first full length published writing project, although he has been a wordsmith all his life producing a rich body of material in other formats. Born and raised in Park Slope, Brooklyn, where he lives now, much of his activity is focused in Lower Manhattan and at Bowling Green, where New York City was founded; he is famously responsible for bringing Arturo DiModica's iconic sculpture "Charging Bull" to the campus, where it now stands permanently. For his many efforts in Lower Manhattan, in 2000 he was named the NYC Parks Dept. "Community Leader of the Decade." He has been very active as an advocate for Alexander Hamilton since 1988 and has written extensively about Hamilton's importance as the savior of the United States and a Father of Modern Capitalism. As a videographer he has produced hundreds of videos. Among his other achievements is his invention and patent of a new team sport, "Quadraball," currently in early stage development which will be the first team sport in history that will include a co-gender version. As for this book it has developed from his lifelong entrepreneurial spirit and extensive research into the history of and the success and failures of business over the ages. It captures the understanding he has reached of the way forward to a more dynamic inclusive Capitalism in the 21st century.
