It observed that structural inadequacies and unwarranted attachment to the West for fund are snags to achieving NEPAD mandates and concluded that NEPAD has not impacted directly on poverty alleviation in Nigeria nay Africa because it is still engrossed in paper work that are yet to generate economic development.

Chiamogu is a PhD research student of the Department of Political Science at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka and lecturer in the Department of Public Administration, Federal Polytechnic, Oko Anambra State. With research interest in ICT, globalization, governance and public policy, Peter has published in several referred journals
