Sefika Sule Erçetin, PhD, is a Professor in the Educational Administration, Supervising, Planning and Economics Department at Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey, and was also head of the department during the years 2007-2010 years. As a project coordinator, she has directed many international and national projects on organizational intelligence, municipalities, and vocational education. She is president, board member, and founding member of the International Science Association (ISCASS). Along with ISCASS, Dr. Erçetin has organized four international symposiums and was a team project coordinator for many national and international projects. She is also editor-in-chief of several national and international journals and has published many articles. She has written seven national books, over 20 international book chapters, and edited seven international books. Dr. Erçetin is one of the rare academicians in Turkey who has been interested in "chaos, complexity, quantum leadership" since 1990. Her other main research fields include comparative education policies; research methods on organizational intelligence, stupidity, and wisdom; leadership; migration; fuzzy logic; children at risk; women and peace studies; social media; plasma leadership; quantum leadership; and women leadership models. Suay Nilhan Açikalin, PhD, is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of International Relations at Ankara Haci Bayram Veli University, Türkiye, and also Vice Director of Institute of Graduate Programs. She has been a guest researcher at Lancaster University in the UK and Humboldt Universitat zu Berlin in Germany within the Jean Monnet Scholarship Program. Dr. Açikalin has worked on topics such as leadership, Turkish foreign policy, chaos and complexity theory, Turkish-EU relations, women and girls in migration studies, climate refugees, and gastro-diplomacy and fashion-diplomacy in theory and practice. She is the author of the book Leadership Diplomacy in Turkish-German Relations. Dr. Açikalin is also interested in city and health diplomacy. She is a member of the advisory board of the Turkish Healthy Cities Union and a founding member of the International Science Association. Dr. Açikalin was a participant at the Bali Democracy Forum 2019 and Asian Civilizational Dialogue in Beijing, China. She graduated from the Department of International Relations at Bilkent University in 2012. She received her master's degree with the thesis "Leadership in Chaos: Angela Merkel and Euro Crisis" at the Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Türkiye. She earned her PhD degree from the same university with her thesis "Political Leadership and Foreign Politics: Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Angela Merkel."
