Tumamoc Hill is a prominent landmark west of downtown Tucson, and has a rich diversity of archaeological remains associated with a long-term use of the hill. It is a cerro de trincheras with numerous large stone walls that define prehistoric public spaces and houses, farm plots, and trails.
