Jack Mangala is an Associate Professor of Political Science and African and African American Studies at Grand Valley State University, where he also serves both as the Director of the African and African American Studies Program and the Director of the Area Studies Center in the Brooks College of Interdisciplinary Studies. He is co-author of Assessing George W. Bush's Policies toward Africa: Proposals for the New U.S. President and African Leaders.
