This book by Sam Smith is an in-depth and pointed insight into living through every step of the Covid pandemic. From the beginning of the outbreak to lockdown, living in a virtual world , the mandates, the emergence of the vaccine, the world reopening and closing, this story is a perspective of the time the world turned upside down.

I have been having work published by indies since the 1990s. Meanwhile erbacce-press commissioned a collection of my asylum poems and until recently I continued as editor of The Journal (once 'of Contemporary Anglo-Scandinavian Poetry') for nigh on 30 years. Born Blackpool 1946 I now live in Blaengarw, South Wales. I have been a psychiatric nurse, residential social worker, milkman, plumber, laboratory analyst, groundsman, sailor, computer operator, scaffolder, gardener, painter & decorator........ working at anything, in fact, which paid the rent, enabled me to raise my three daughters and which didn't get too much in the way of my writing. Those indie publishers who have come and gone have nevertheless put a few poetry collections and several of my novels into print.
