The authors, born and educated in Newark and veterans of service with the Elizabeth Daily Journal and New Jersey Newsphotos, collaborated last year on another well-received Images of America book. This new photographic history shows their affection for Newark, their knowledge of its remarkable past, and their faith in its future.
