CDR Samantha O'Neil, USN, is a Navy Reserve surface warfare officer who served on four ships and held various leadership positions on active duty and in the Reserve. She coauthored the Surface Warfare Officer's Department Head Guide, holds two master's degrees with an emphasis on leadership, and served ashore as a company officer at the U.S. Naval Academy.
