This research investigates newspaper coverage of education issues in Nigeria by The Nation newspaper. Content Analysis was utilized as the research approach/method for this study while coding sheet was used as the research instrument of collecting the needed data. It is found that The Nation newspapers covered and reported education issues within the study period, on a daily basis. It also revealed that The Nation newspapers gave prominence to education issues, through their coverage and reportage on an insignificant scale and that only developing issues on education were reported as they happen with no in-depth reportage of the education issues. Consequently, it was recommended, among other things, that The Nation newspapers and other mass media to sustainably put efforts at ensuring that education issues are considerably covered and reported to the people.
