Geoffrey Tinega é Bacharel em Educação (Artes), licenciado em Honra de Primeira Classe pela Universidade de Nairobi, Quénia. Tem um Mestrado em Artes (Estudos de Comunicação) da mesma instituição. É Perito e Consultor em Comunicação. Actualmente, o Sr. Tinega é professor de Comunicação, Media & Jornalismo nas Universidades Kisii e Rongo, no Quénia.
