Prof. Dr. Andreas Breiter, seit 2004 Professor für Angewandte Informatik an der Universität Bremen mit dem Schwerpunkt Informations- und Wissensmanagement in der Bildung. Leitungsmitglied des Instituts für Informationsmanagement Bremen GmbH (ifib), einem gemeinnützigen Forschungs- und Beratungsinstitut an der Universität Bremen. Promotion 2000 zum Thema IT-Management in Bildungssystemen. Davor wissenschaftlicher Assistent an der Universität Bremen und Wissenschaftler am Fraunhofer Institut für System- und Innovationsforschung in Karlsruhe. Studium der Soziologie, Informatik und Rechtswissenschaft an der J.W.-Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt/Main und an der University of Southampton.
