Eli Sachse, RN is an illustrator, writer and activist living in Merced, CA, USA. By day, he is a registered nurse with a focus in mental health, primary care and transgender health. He has written about healthcare and the trans experience for Sonoma Medicine and Microcosm Publishing. By night, he paints portraits, curates fine art exhibitions, and does messy illustrations. He also runs a support group for gender expansive people in his rural community, and does local activism and advocacy there.
