Kara Knickerbocker is a writer and world traveler from Saegertown, Pennsylvania. She earned her B.A. in English from Westminster College in 2012. Her poetry and essays appeared in or are forthcoming in: The Blue Route, Moledro Magazine, Construction, Longridge Review, Broad River Review, Pittsburgh Poetry Review, Thought Catalog, One Sentence Poems, Uppagus, Avatar Review, and the anthology Voices from the Attic, Vol. XXII, among others. Her poetry collections won first place in their category at the 2016 and 2017 Sigma Tau Delta International English Convention. Next to Everything that is Breakable is her debut chapbook.
