This book x-rays the social, economic and ecological nexus of Ebola Disease outbreak in West Africa and implications for government and public health preparedness in the sub-region. It went further to analyze the lessons learnt from covid-19 pandemic. The book shows that most of the countries were ill prepared and equipped to withstand such disease outbreaks. Thus, it advocates for governments and all stakeholders to synergize in building resilient health systems in the face of reoccurring pandemics.
