The second bus route to operate in the City of Buffalo, New York by the International Bus Company, the Route 25 Delaware line began service as Route A, operating from Downtown Buffalo to Delaware and Kenwood in the Village of Kenmore. Double-decker buses were used nearly exclusively on this route from its inception on November 2, 1924, until 1927, when they were replaced with single-deck coaches. Over the course of the next 75 years, the 25 Delaware bus expanded considerably, maintaining its "trunk" service between Downtown Buffalo and as far as Delaware and Sheridan Drive on many of the trips.
