Nghi¿a Hiê¿p Ky¿ Duyên, commonly known as "Ch¿ng Cä Mum", is the best known novel by Nguyê¿n Chänh S¿¿t, the much revered writer, journalist, activist, educator of Cochinchine during the first half of the 20th Century. It's the adventurous story of a little girl abducted and raised in Cambodia until the final reunion with her own family, narrated in a uniquely casual, light-hearted but poetic prose, signature of the still much beloved Southern literature.
