Tania Ka'ai (Ngāti Porou, Ngāi Tahu) has worked in tertiary education for over twenty years and is currently a professor in Māori innovation and development at Auckland University of Technology. She is also the director of Te Ipukarea and Te Whare o Rongomaurikura.
