Author of "Nibbles Goes Camping" and the adult nonfiction collection, "Best Dog Ever," P.D. Appleton grew up in the Seattle area of Washington State. She has four boys whom she read to faithfully, as she now does with her grandkids. She comes from an artistic family of musicians, poets, singers, and dancers, rounding it out with writing and mural painting. She continues to live in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, working on a young adult thriller, a cookbook for men, and the next adventure in the Nibble's series.
