This is the riveting story of one man whose audacious faith was a turning point in the history of Pentecostalism in South Africa. NBH Bhengu challenged the American missionary enterprise of the Assemblies of God USA and won. In the end, the missionaries seceded and formed the International Assemblies of God, a USA version in Africa. Bhengu resisted their inroads into the townships and villages and almost single-handedly imposed a moratorium on their activities. This was practically unheard of in his time; thus demonstrating how he was light years ahead in the history of Pentecostalism in Africa.
