Dr. Robert Cheeks is the youngest of two and raised by a dynamic duo-a dedicated educator mother and a world-traveling father with a military and government background-Dr. Cheeks was nurtured in an environment rich with diverse experiences and endless possibilities. With a heart that loves God and people, along with a passion for capturing the wonder of childhood, he finds inspiration in the everyday adventures of family life. As a devoted husband and a proud father, Dr. Cheeks delights in exploring the world through his son's eyes, uncovering discoveries, and cherishing precious moments together. Drawing from his own experiences as a parent and the boundless imagination of childhood, Dr. Cheeks weaves captivating tales that celebrate the magic of innocence, the joy of discovery, and the warmth of family bonds. Through his wonderful stories, brought to life with vibrant illustrations, young readers embark on imaginative journeys filled with laughter, lessons, and love. Having already earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Morgan State University, Dr. Cheeks, in preparation for his life's work, earned a Master of Divinity degree from the Howard University School of Divinity, Washington, D.C. (where he was the recipient of the Henry B. Maynard Exegetical Preparation and Preaching Proficiency Award), and the Doctorate of Ministry degree from the United Theological Seminary, Dayton, Ohio. He is the Pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church, Odricks Corner, Va.
