This book investigates the nature and dynamics of Informal Cross-Border Activities between the Nigerian and Nigerien border communities of Illela and Birni N'Konni (Niger Republic). Based on evidence collected from the two borderland communities, the study brings into light those areas of cooperation and conflicts between the two colonial divided communities. The understanding of these relationships will go a long way in providing a quantum knowledge about the border communities of Nigeria and her immediate neighbours as well as the kinds of relationships that bind them and promote their unity in diversity.
