Marcy's writing career has spanned four decades and includes numerous online magazine articles while working as a staff writer for Otter Public Relations and a book that memorializes her father's incredible coaching career. We Call Him Coach: Four Decades of Memories with Coach Dick McDonald is a local interest book depicting the outstanding achievements of her father and his athletes in the small, Illinois town named Blue Mound.A veteran educator, Marcy has taught seventh-grade language arts, AP Literature, AP Language, and everything in between.
