Jill Santopolo is not a super sleuth in training, though she does know how to open locked doors with her MetroCard, where she lives in New York City. She is the author of An Alec Flint Mystery: THE NINA, THE PINTA, AND THE VANISHING TREASURE, as well as Alec Flint's second mystery, THE RANSOM NOTE BLUES, both published by Orchard Books. She recieved a BA from Columbia University and an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. When she's not writing her own books, Jill edits children's books for a major publishing house.
