The debut of Ninja Funk marked creator John-Paul "JPG" Paras’ transition from comic retailer to bonafied comic book writer. As the proprietor of "That Spider-Man Booth" and "Street Level Hero LA" in California, JPG found a new level of success as a streamer in the Whatnot community, becoming one of its top comic sellers. But he always had aspirations of making an impact on the creative side of the comic book world.
