I sincerely hope that teachers and students of Soil Science in agricultural universities and institutes would find this textbook useful in learning and teaching different aspects of Indian soils and their management. Dr. Shahina Tabassum, received B.Sc (Ag) degree in 2005, M.Sc degree in 2007 and Ph.D degree in Soil Science & Agril. Chemistry in 2011 from Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, Jabalpur (MP), respectively. She published 3 research papers, 8 abstract and 3 book chapters in peer reviewed journals of national and international repute.
