A dangerously cavalier hero unwilling to follow doctor's orders. A dedicated, compassionate heroine determined to heal. Jamie Calderone is a charming and carefree bachelor who lives life with reckless abandon. His trip to the hospital for yet another sports-related injury finds him back under the care of Dr. Rylee Kavanaugh. Jamie's fallen fast and hard for the gorgeous Irish doc and goes to great lengths to prove it to her. Rylee is a gifted, caring physician who's chosen her career over her personal life. She's sworn off romance because of her abysmal relationship history and her crippling abandonment issues, but she's intrigued by the many charms of this kind, handsome man. But when the doctor discovers her patient is deliberately ignoring warning signs his body is sending him, putting his life-and her heart-in danger, she refuses to stick around to watch him self-destruct, even if it means she'll be alone forever. Do they have the remedy for each other's pain? And will they learn the hard way there is no cure for love? No Cure for Love, Book Five in the Calderone Family Romance Series, is a captivating story of sorrow and tears, soul-searching and self-discovery, laughter and love.

Autorenporträt
Born in Lancashire, England to a Lawrence Welk-loving mum and a Monty Python-loving dad - tea drinkers all - we moved to Canada when I was seven. "Say book, say look" my new classmates would hound me just so they could have a good chuckle at my accent. But being incredibly shy, this was a great way for me to make new friends. My love of words and a creative imagination prompted English teachers to urge me to write for a living. My grade 12 Creative Writing teacher suggested I send a sample of my "sizzling dialogue" to the (then) three major television studios in New York City. He was convinced one of them would hire me to write for a soap opera. But, being the still-shy teenager, I didn't have the courage. Through the years, I wrote lots of stories while I earned a living as an Administrative Assistant in various businesses including a bank, a car rental firm, an ice cream company, and a pharmaceutical manufacturer. I was more than a little peeved after discovering none of them gave out free samples. None of them! Geez. I went on to own a Wedding Coordination business for six years (talk about romance), all the while being happily married to the love of my life (yep - even more romance!). These interesting jobs plus wedded bliss gave me oodles of ideas for romantic plot lines, swoon-worthy heroes and feisty, beautiful heroines, and, of course, the happy ever afters. So amidst endless cups of strong English Breakfast tea while Glenn Miller tunes and the dead parrot sketch whirl around in my brain, I write fun and feisty, sweet and sassy romances with a dollop of humour. I have an irresistible need to create captivating characters whose lives I can make completely miserable before giving them their happy ending. I live in Mississauga, Ontario and constantly wonder how wine and chocolate keep magically appearing in my house...
