Years of dedicated public service provide no protection when a corrupt scheme threatens the careers and lives of a young couple deep in the bureaucracy of Washington. One half is forced to face the corrupt conspiracy while the other is challenged to preserve their love from outside. The minutia of their daily professional lives do not hold the answers to how the couple can survive. They must go beyond the beltway to a land they had never before explored - America.
