I went to the bookstore, thinking I might find a little book that I could read to him about biting. I thought that such a book would pique his interest and he might stop biting his friends at school. I could not find such a book, so I decided that I would write one that might be helpful to other parents, grandparents, and teachers. I put the book away and never looked into having it published. When I retired and had more time, I took the manuscript out and read it. I felt it still had value, so I decided to pursue having it published.
