Leanne Francia PhD (Psychology), BSocSC (Psych)(Hons), AssocDegLaw (Paralegal Studies)Leanne has worked as a children's counsellor and ran a successful children's event business, the Sunshine Coast Kid's Club, a fun and creative space that brought parents, carers and children together over themed art and craft activities, games, birthday parties, storytelling, Easter egg hunts and much more. The Kid's Club put on events across South East Queensland in partnership with local charities, shopping centres, tourism business operators and ABC children's television. As a mother and researcher, Leanne is passionate about better understanding and addressing issues that impact children's lives, and has published research in a number of academic journals. Leanne currently lives in Melbourne and enjoys helping children make sure "... that DARK time is done!"
